Which practice software does Owivo work with?

Short answer

Owivo books straight into two calendars: Progenda (Helena Pro Calendar) and Google Calendar, connected per location. Owivo has no connection today with DentAdmin, CareConnect Dentist or other patient record software; it does not book in them and reads nothing from them. On your website you add Owivo with one line of code, in WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow or any other site.

Two calendars are connected. For the other packages, this is what Owivo does today and what it does not do:

What does Owivo do if your software is not connected?

Owivo then works without a connection to your software:

Owivo answers questions about opening hours, address and new patients from the information on your website.
Fee, reimbursement and patient share come from the official RIZIV tariff table, always as an indication.
A patient who wants an appointment leaves their details. Your team finds the request in the Owivo dashboard and schedules the appointment in your own software.
You can also let Owivo offer times from the opening hours and appointment types you set in Owivo. Those appointments sit in the Owivo dashboard; Owivo then does not see busy times in your own software.

How does Owivo get onto my website?

With one line of code on every page, just before the closing body tag. The assistant then appears in the bottom right corner. Here is where it goes in the most common website builders:

WordPress: with a plugin such as WPCode, in the footer box.
Wix: Settings, Custom code, at the end of the body, on all pages.
Squarespace: Settings, Advanced, Code injection, in the Footer box.
Webflow and other sites: paste the line just before the closing body tag.

What if someone else manages my website?

From the dashboard you email the code to your web developer in one click, with instructions included. Rather not do it yourself? The Owivo team installs it for you for free.

Does Owivo work with DentAdmin or CareConnect Dentist?

Not today. Owivo has no connection with DentAdmin or CareConnect Dentist: it does not book in that software and reads nothing from it. You can still use Owivo for patient questions, the patient share from the RIZIV table, emergency routing and appointment requests, which your team schedules itself. Owivo only announces a new connection once it works.

Do I need technical knowledge to install Owivo?

No. You copy one line of code and paste it into your website, or email it to your web developer from the dashboard. The Owivo team can also do it for you for free.

Does Owivo work on a WordPress website?
